Large-scale event will be held to clean up the territory of Issyk-Kul region

On the eve of the III World Nomad Games on 25 and 26 August this year, a large-scale event will be held to clean up the territory of the Issyk-Kul region, the central highway and the coastal zone.

The environmental action, which will be held under the auspices of the authorized representative office of the government in the Issyk-Kul region, is organized by the akimat of Issyk-Kul district and the public Fund "Eco demi".

Cleaning up day will be held throughout the district, from Balykchy city to Semenovka village, including Kyrchyn gorge. Of the total length of the Issyk-Kul region (168 km), it is planned to clean more than 100 km.

The event expects the participation of about 1 thousand people. As the akimat of Issyk-Kul region Danir Imanaliev underscored, the purpose of the action is to involve citizens of the country, including the local community, in preparation for the largest international event - to the III World Nomad Games.

"It is important that every house, yard, street is ready to welcome guests from all over the world who come to the Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz Republic to participate in the World Nomad Games. We must ensure the cleanliness and order of the territory and demonstrate our warm hospitality to the entire world community.  Therefore, this environmental action is important for us," said akim of the region.

Not indifferent citizens from all regions of Kyrgyzstan, as well as guests who have a rest on the coast of the lake, expressed their readiness to participate in the cleaning up day.

Everyone can take part in the environmental action. Collection at 9.00 on August 25 in Cholpon-Ata city at the building of the state administration of Issyk-Kul region.
