The Great Hungarian Kurultaj interested in World Nomad Games
The Great Kurultaj of Hungary interested in participation in the World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan – K-News reported in the press service of the Plenipotentiary representative of IssykKul of the Kyrgyz government.
“About 150 thousand people are gathered at the World Kurultaj in Hungary, but it should be noted that the World Nomad Games, undoubtedly, has become an international brand”, - said Andras Zsolt Biro, Chairman of the Kurultaj.
Andras Biro met with Askhat Akibaev, Plenipotentiary representative of IssykKul region to discuss further cooperation.
“We are ready to participate in the II World Nomad Games and show our program. In addition, we can provide the necessary assistance to the organizing committee of the Games, for example, in ensuring the safety of the event”, - said Andras Biro.
Plenipotentiary representative of IssykKul region noted that the idea of both the World Nomad Games and the Great Hungarian Kurultaj are same and make a basis for studying the heritage of nomadic civilization.
“They unite states of the world, thus demonstrate diversity of the national culture, the depth of the philosophy and history of nomadic people”, - said Akibaev.
Andras Zsolt Biro, Hungarian anthropologist and scientific researcher of the anthropological department of the Hungarian Museum of Nature. His research results aroused significant international interest and served as the basis for the organization and holding of the Hun-Turkic people festival – Great Hungarian Kurultaj.
